Sigvard participated in blind bass player and composer Richard Andersson’s artistic research project “Invisible” and contributed with this piece of music, composed on the basis of a vocal description of Carl Henning Pedersen’s painting “The Blue Bird”.
In the project Andersson adresses what happens when a visual perception is put into words and those words are transformed into music. A movement from visual art to musical composition.
What happens to one person’s sensory experience when it, through linguisticization, is handed over to another human being, who lifts it out of the words enveloping it and turns it into a new sensory experience?
